I qualified as a pharmacist in 1994 after completing my pharmacy degree at Nottingham University. I worked for Boots as a relief pharmacist for 2 years and then moved to Safeway as Pharmacy Manager in Burton on Trent. Whilst in this role I undertook some sessional work proving medicines management support to two local practices. I then moved into a head office role focused on acquisitions and pharmacy relocations and subsequently took a role at LloydsPharmacy as NHS Contracts Manager for 9 years. I then decided to gain some experience working for an independent pharmacy company again focused on pharmacy contracting but adding professional service development and implementation and operations to my responsibilities.
I am now back at LloydsPharmacy working as a Business Development Manager for local commissioned services.
This is my first LPC appointment and I’m excited by the opportunities and challenges ahead!
I live near Nuneaton with my partner and 13 year old daughter and our 2 year old Lhasa Poo, Chester. We enjoy walks in the countryside near our home and attempting to grow our own produce on our allotment! I also enjoy travelling and home baking.
