Leadership for HLP Training Tuesday June 20th 2017
Tuesday, 20 June, 2017 9.30 registration. Event 10am to 4pm
The Royal Society for Public Health has published the criteria that a pharmacy must reach to become an HLP
One of the requirements is that an individual from the pharmacy team has undergone leadership training internally or through an organisation that maps to/encompasses the RPS framework.
The LPC is organising a full day leadership workshop, delivered by the CPPE, on Tuesday 20th June 2017. Registration is 9.30 for a 10am start and the event will run until 4pm.
The event will be held in the Lichfield area and the venue will be announced when we have confirmed the booking.
The leader in the pharmacy can be a pharmacist or pharmacy manager or team member who;
- is a clear leader within the team and who is responsible for creating an ethos of proactive health and well-being within the pharmacy
- is able to be an effective leader of the team, encouraging the best use of team members’ skills and creating an environment that supports and who mentors other team members
- can lead, jointly with the pharmacy team, an action plan on achieving Level 1 HLP
Places are limited places at this event therefore booking will be taken on a first come first serve basis and there is a strict policy of one place/booking per pharmacy

Please note that if you do not attend your booked place the LPC reserve the right to charge a fee.
The HEE funding we received for this training is limited and if you do not use your place it means that funding has been lost to the LPC. (You can however, give your place to another staff member within the pharmacy provided they would be a suitable HLP leader).
If no-one from your pharmacy is going to attend you MUST cancel your place.
