Sensory Impairment Training Workshop – Stafford
Tuesday, 13 March, 2018 18:30
Kingston Centre, Fairway, Stafford ST16 3TW
ASSIST provides support for people over 16 years of age who have hearing or vision loss, are deafblind, or who have an autism spectrum condition. They have very kindly agreed to provide a complimentary training session for 10 people at the Kingston Centre, Fairway Stafford ST16 3TW. We are looking for five pharmacists and five Healthy Living Champions (or other support staff) to attend this pilot session.
The session will take place on Tuesday 13th March 2018, and will last approximately 3 hours from 6.30pm to 9.30pm and will cover hearing impairment, visual impairment and deaf/blind impairment. This may suit those in the Stafford area initially, however we are willing to accept bookings from any area provided you can be at the Kingston centre for around 6.30pm or just after (the session will start as soon after that time as possible). Light refreshments will be provided.
In addition to getting the training and an accreditation certificate, this will be an opportunity to assess what training will be required for the wider community pharmacy contractor network locally.
