LPC Elections 2018

January 3, 2018

The term of office of the members of the South Staffordshire Local Pharmaceutical Committee expires on 31st March 2018

We are now seeking nominations for the independent  pharmacy contractor places on the committee.

There are FIVE (5) places available and a nomination form along with covering letter has been sent to all eligible independent pharmacy contractors today. Other places on the LPC are filled by nominations from the Company Chemists’ Association (CCA) and Association of Independent Multiple Pharmacies (AIMp) and consequently neither candidates nor nominators may be representatives of member companies of the CCA or AIMp.

If you would like to put forward a nomination please complete and return the nomination form to reach the returning officer (details on the form) by 12 noon on Friday 19th January 2018. If there are more nominations than places available there will an election and voting papers will be distributed to eligible contractors. Accompanying the voting paper will be the information taken from the shaded boxes on the nomination paper to provide voters with information on each of the candidates.

Finally, if you believe you are an independent contractor and have not received a letter and nomination form by 5pm on Monday 8th January, please contact the LPC office.
