NUMSAS:

Dear colleagues

As you may already be aware, the NUMSAS service has now been extended for a further 6 months until 31st March 2019. The revised service specification is available on the LPC website for your information, click here to see SLA

Latest information from NHSBSA indicates that across Staffordshire and Shropshire, a total of 119 pharmacies have registered to provide this service, however less than 30 of these pharmacies have completed the validation process to enable referrals to be made. Therefore, over the next few days, those pharmacies that have registered , but have not completed the process, will receive a test email to your NHSmail account which you will need to respond to in order to activate the referral link. The email will include a mock 111 referral message as an attachment which will include a request to send confirmation of receipt to Richard Topping (DoS Lead) and myself. This is important as it provides evidence of successful end to end testing and will minimise risk of genuine messages with patient details being misdirected.

Can you please check the details carefully for your individual branches, and let me know if there are any inaccuracies, as this list will be circulated to GP practices, CCGs and other stakeholders next week.
