Quality Payments Scheme Extended into 2018-19

March 27, 2018

The Department of Health has now announced that while the negotiations for the 2018-19 pharmacy contract take place the 2017-18 contract will extend for 6 months.

Under this arrangement they will pay one set of pharmacy Quality Payments with a review date in June 2018.

Although the criteria remain the same there have been changes made to two of the gateway criteria.

Your NHS Choices entry must now include Bank Holiday information

The pharmacy must be able to receive mail to a SHARED NHSmail account

PSNC have produced a briefing on this which can be accessed here ow.ly/MzbJ30jaRpJ

In addition we will make information available on the LPC website and will send out information via the LPC newsletter.
