COVID-19 Testing Update (6th July)

COVID-19 Testing Update (6th July)

June 12, 2020

The process for booking COVID-19 Tests for all essential workers (and those living with an essential worker) with symptoms is now via the following website:

https://www.gov.uk/apply-coronavirus-test-essential-workers

The testing site at the Pirelli Stadium in Burton has now been stood down, which leaves the following testing sites in Staffordshire:

Bet 365 Stadium, Stanley Matthews Way, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 4EG

Staffordshire Education and Enterprise Centre, Weston Road, Stafford ST18 0BF

Thanks to all contractors who entered details of staff for antibody testing; NHS England & NHS Improvement will be rolling out COVID antibody testing very soon – most likely later this month.

In the meantime, you may want to read the information leaflet below – this details the differences between the different forms of testing:

There is also useful info on the PHE resources site:   https://coronavirusresources.phe.gov.uk/nhs-resources-facilities/

Finally, check out PSNC’s Staff wellbeing and COVID-19 testing page for further information on any aspect of testing for COVID-19.
